LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) is a client-server protocol for
accessing a directory service. E-mail programs use LDAP to look up contact
information from the server where the directory service resides.
The SupportDesk LDAP Integrator enables you to populate and synchronise
SupportDesk Customer or Contact tables with data from the LDAP server.
Includes LDAP Authentication for End Users accessing the WebServer option.
Supported directory servers are Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, Novell NDS. |

Outlook Synchronisation |

Outlook Synchronisation Interface |
|
The Outlook Synchronisation option allows you to download SupportDesk
Calls and activities to Outlook where they are created as Tasks.
Your technicians can then download to PDAs and Smartphones that support
synchronisation with Microsoft Outlook 2000 and 2002 (using
synchronisation software supplied with the handheld). Updates to the
completion status of a task on the PDA/Smartphone or in Outlook will
be mirrored in the corresponding SupportDesk Call/Activity at next
synchronisation. |
